Chandler Burr

Chandler Burr is a journalist, playwright, and novelist living in New York City. His first stage play, Exquisite, was nominated for the Helen Hayes Award for Outstanding New Play, and his most recent book, The Emperor of Scent, was nominated for the Los Angeles Book Critics’ Circle Award. “You, or Someone Like You” is an excerpt from and the title piece of his novel-in-progress.
